The Challenge: Building a Nimble Social Production Engine
Legacy CPG food brand WASA requested a rapid, three-month social content trial on Instagram to modernize their digital presence. Zeno Group needed to deploy internal, specialized production workflows from scratch on a highly restricted trial budget. The core business hurdle was a total lack of established local social pipelines, mixed with intense real-time stakeholder misalignment regarding platform-specific content standards.
The Data: Exceeding Benchmarks & Winning the Account
View-Rate Domination: Instagram Reels achieved a 20.19% average view rate, performing 68% above the client's 12% target.
Sustained Engagement Lift: Motion assets secured a 0.81% engagement rate, beating the brand's historic platform average by 7%.
Organic Community Growth: Captured 189 new followers in month one, the highest platform growth spike since late 2021.
This structured trial successfully converted a temporary capabilities test into a permanent, multi-year content partnership.
The Strategy: Defining Process, Governance, & Native UX Architecture
To eliminate production ambiguity, I designed an end-to-end content creation pipeline. I steered a multi-tiered department consisting of internal video production squads, ACDs, and designers. We proposed monthly strategic themes, sourced physical styling props, and built prescriptive, pre-approved shot lists. This rigorous workflow governance successfully protected the creative lifecycle from mid-month scope creep.
On set, I functioned as executive producer and lead brand safeguard. I protected the campaign footprint by enforcing platform design standards over transient creative whims.
A core pillar of this strategy was designing content with Native UI/UX Foresight. We proactively mapped video compositions to account for Instagram’s native interface overlays (user icons, text, and actionable buttons). This layout foresight guaranteed that core branding elements always sat within clean zones, maximizing immediate brand impression within the first three seconds of a scroll.
The Creative Execution: Structured Monthly Iterations
March (Asset Baseline): Developed short-form Reels and minimalist visual storytelling highlighting tasty product recipes.
April (Upfront Branding): Embedded explicit "Swipe to Build" interactive CTAs to accelerate immediate brand recognition.
May (Culinary Curation): Integrated bespoke illustration styles matching WASA's global corporate palette to capture lifestyle buyer profiles.
